Shirley Morgan Furlong

Shirley Morgan Furlong (nee Kahmer), 76, of West Chester, PA, passed away on March 15, 2022.

Born in Darby, PA in 1945, she was the daughter of the late Sherwood and Lillian Kahmer. In 1964, Shirley started working for A&P/SuperFresh, where she spent most of her years as the front end Manager, until her retirement in 2015. She was an avid reader. Shirley enjoyed traveling, especially to visit her daughter in Tioga County.

Shirley was the beloved wife of Michael Furlong; loving mother of Sherry Hughes (Jack), James Morgan (Tammy), and the late Bobby Morgan, Jr.; caring grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; dear sister of Sherwood Kahmer (Terry).

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10-11:30 AM Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the VFW Post 106, 837 Lincoln Avenue, West Chester, PA 19380, would be appreciated.
