Sharon L. Lydon

Sharon L. (Reh) Lydon, age 77, of Drexel Hill, PA passed away peacefully on July 25th, 2025 with her loving husband and children by her side.

Sharon leaves behind her husband Tom, her children Thomas (Kathleen), Sean, Trish & Dave (Siobhan), four grandchildren Max, Marlowe, Joanna and Quinn along with many cousins and friends.

Sharon was dedicated to her family above all. She was raised by her mother Joan and maternal grandparents Charles and Loretta on Ruskin Lane in Upper Darby. Her childhood was spent with cousins, with whom she spent countless hours creating memories and stories that have been lovingly retold again and again. She attended St. Cyril’s in East Lansdowne & Archbishop Prendergast in Drexel Hill. Sharon met her husband Tom at work for the Department of Defense in South Philadelphia and spent 51 years lovingly rolling her eyes at her husband’s sense of humor.

She was a mom who loved her children with a fierce, unwavering heart—her greatest joy in life was simply being with her kids. Her family stretched far beyond her husband, children, grandchildren and granddogs-it included so many friends, first cousins, second cousins, third (maybe even more—they never could figure that out), all of whom she loved so deeply. Her sharp wit and dry humor brought laughter wherever she went. Though she faced more than her share of hardships, she never let them dim her spirit, never complained—and she never lost her beautiful smile.

Relatives and friends are invited to Sharon's visitation on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Bernadette of Lourdes Church, 1035 Turner Ave, Drexel Hill, PA followed by her funeral mass at 11:00 AM. Interment private.
