Sandra "Sandy" Walthour

Sandra “Sandy” Walthour, wife, mommy, nanny, cousin, sister, auntie, friend, God fearing woman, co-worker, movie partner, dance partner, super supporter, extra spicy, and ready to back you up immediately, passed away on June 21, 2024.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on August 3, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Samuel O. and Ruth (née Washington) Toatley.

Sandy loved learning. She went to Temple for Special Education. She was employed for 23 years with PECO in their customer service department.

Sandy loved her family with her whole heart and nothing came before them, nothing mattered as much. Her family was truly blessed to have been fully loved by her. Her heart stretched extremely further than just the love of family. She was loved seriously and was seriously loved by all who knew her. She extended her hands out to help others and received help from wonderful family and friends over the years. Sandy loved God and loved going to church. 

Sandy was the beloved wife of the late Marion Walthour; the loving mother of Joylyn, and the devoted grandmother of Kerra and Damhar. She is also survived by her sisters, cousins, extended family, and many friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service, Wednesday, July 3, 2024, 11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, 610-449-0300. Interment private.
