Sandra L. McCall

Sandra L. (Sandi) McCall, 76, a resident of the Country House in Wilmington, Delaware, passed away peacefully on May 1sth, 2025.

Sandi was the daughter of the late John and Carolyn (Stein) McCall and grew up in Springfield, PA. A 1966 graduate of Springfield High School, she went on to study elementary education at Beaver College (Arcadia University) graduating in 1970. She also held an MA in Guidance and Counseling from Villanova University.

Sandi taught for three years in the Springfield School District before moving on to Greenwood Elementary School in the Kennett Consolidated School District where she served as a Guidance Counselor for 36 years.

Sandi served in various officer positions in the American Association of University Women. She was a proud and supportive alumna of her alma mater and received the Mary Louise Armstrong Wolf Award in recognition of outstanding volunteer service to Arcadia University. Sandi was also very active and involved for many years at the Elam United Methodist Church in Glen Mills where she served as a lay reader.

Sandi will be dearly missed by all of her treasured friends.

Friends are invited to Sandi’s viewing on Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA followed by her funeral service at 12:00 PM. Interment at Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
