Beloved wife of 68 years to the late William H. Thorpe Sr. Loving mother of William H. Jr. (Lynn), Christian S. (Alida) and Margaret M. Shank (Michael).
Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Ruth was an active member of the Granite Farms Estates Community.
Services are private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the Love of Linda Cancer Fund (www.loveoflinda.org) P.O. Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260, would be appreciated.
