Russell "Russ" Thomas Pearse, 89, of Brandon, Florida, entered into eternal life on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

Russell was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 2, 1936. He graduated from Saint Thomas More Roman Catholic High School in 1954. He served in the United States Army from 1956 until 1962, when he was honorably discharged for completing his tour of duty.

Russ went on to marry the love of his life, Mary Theresa, on May 13, 1961; they were married for 65 years. He worked for 6ABC Action News for more than three decades as an engineer.

He most enjoyed spending time with his family.

Russ is survived by his loving wife, Mary (nee Ibbotson), his three sons, Russell (Ingrid), Victor (Kristine), and Matthew (Deborah), his 8 beautiful grandchildren – Kyle, Paige, Shannon, Kileen, Matthew (Joseph), Jessica, Rin, and Megan, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Russ's visitation on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM followed by his funeral service at 11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA. Interment at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 S. Sproul Road, Springfield, PA.
