Rosita Marie Alleva

With love and deep remembrance, we announce the passing of Rosita, affectionately known as “Rosie,” who passed away on April 15, 2026, at the age of 94.

Rosie was born on February 27, 1932, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She lived a full and meaningful life defined by strength, resilience, and love for her family.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose presence brought warmth, strength, and quiet wisdom to everyone who knew her. A strong and independent woman, Rosie worked outside the home for many years and carried herself with determination and grace. She remained self-sufficient throughout her life, maintaining her independence until her stroke.

She is survived by her two sons, Joseph and Louis; her daughter-in-law Deann; her cherished granddaughter Morgan and her husband Tyler; and her beloved great-grandson Isaiah. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.

Rosie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mario, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage, who passed on December 16, 2014; her parents; and her two sisters, Olivia and Dominica.

She will be remembered for her strength, her resilience, and the way she made those around her feel cared for and supported. Her legacy is one of love, family, and enduring strength.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Relatives & Friends are invited to her viewing Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA from 9:30 AM - 10:45 AM, followed by her Funeral Service 11 AM at the Funeral Home.
