Rosemary Keough

Rosemary M. Keough (nee Griendling), age 69, passed away peacefully on March 28th, 2021,at Lankenau Hospital, Wynnewood. She was born on November 4, 1951 in Philadelphia to the late Wilbur and Helen Griendling (nee Whitkus). She grew up in Havertown, PA and was a 1969 graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School.

She married Donald M. Keough on November 17, 1972. Rosemary was an incredible mother to her 4 children Kathleen (Michael) Hauck, Daniel Keough, Edward (Jennie) Keough, and Joseph (Brenda) Keough. She was a loving grandmother to her 8 grandchildren Ian, Genevieve, Conall, Evan, Alice, Ryan, Johnny, and Shane. She is also survived by her brothers, James Griendling, Edward (Mary Beth) Griendling, Thomas (Kate) Griendling, and her sister, Jeanne (Ernest) Wilson as well as many nieces and nephews.

Rosemary devoted her life to her family. She cherished getting everyone together at weekly family dinners. She looked forward to vacationing down the shore every year. Rosemary had an amazing sense of humor and loved to laugh with her friends and family. She was a kind, caring, and compassionate woman and will be remembered as a great mom to many of the children who grew up in the Highland Park neighborhood. Rosemary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Annunciation BVM Church 401 Brookline Blvd, Havertown, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.  Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA

Masks are to be worn when visiting the family, to the Funeral Mass and Cemetery.   Social distancing is to be observed.
