Ronald G. Searing, age 71, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Media, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at home on January 2, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Gerard M. and Kathryn Gladys (nee Kelly) Searing.
Ronald served his country honorably in the U.S. Army National Guard and was stationed in Chester, PA.
Ronald was employed with Chemical Leaman & Quality Carriers Tank Lines for over 37 years.
He enjoyed fishing and boating especially with his family at Marsh Creek State Park and the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. Ronald could be found watching any history, geographic, or arts TV program while relaxing at home!
Ronald was the beloved husband of Dolores "Deanie" J. (nee LaFlamme) Searing,; the loving father of Ronald Stephen Searing (the late Bonnie) and Gerard "Jerry" M. Searing (Marilyn); the proud grandfather of Noah Searing, Lily Searing, Abagail Searing, Grace Searing, Alycia Reiss, David Reiss, and great-granddaughter Payleigh. He is also survived by many dear family and friends.
Ronald was laid to rest at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, Valley Forge, PA.
