Ronald Ross

Ronald S. “Ron” Ross, age 86 of Lakewood, NY, formerly of Upper Darby and West Chester, PA, passed away on October 24, 2026.

Ron was the beloved husband to Frances R (nee Mccloskey). Meeting as teens they fell in love, married, and walked hand in hand for 64 blessed years. Also survived by his sister-in-law Patricia and niece Charlene Jackson. Proud of his Scottish heritage he met many Ross's while working on the family tree. Ron was proceeded in death by his parents, Alec and Nell Ross and his brothers Jack, Stan, Don and his sister Betsy.

Ron attended Upper Darby High School and Drexel University. Applying the skills he learned, he worked at Clifton Precision for 20 plus years and SKF as a Manager of Engineering for 32 years before retiring in 2012.

He loved to keep active, especially by walking, and was a member of the Lakewood YMCA. He enjoyed being by the water, learning new things, telling jokes only he understood, and going to the casinos.

Friends are invited to pay their respects at a Graveside Service on Saturday October 31st at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield PA. We ask you to meet by the cemetery office at 10:15 AM in order to process to grave.
