Robert "Bob" Peterson

Robert J. “Bob” Peterson, 71, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

Born in Erie, PA in 1949, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Virginia A. (nee Scheffner) Peterson.  Bob attended Villanova University and served honorably in the US National Guard.  He worked as a Finance Manager at IBM for over 40 years.  Bob was an avid outdoorsman and loved college and professional sports.

Robert was the beloved husband of the late Patricia J. Peterson; loving father of John P. Peterson (Stephanie) and Janet L. Brown (TJ); adoring grandfather of Maia, Kai and Dylan; dear brother of James Peterson (Jackie), Joan Payne (Michael), Richard Peterson (Carole), and David Peterson (Monica).  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a mass of Christian burial on Thursday, November 11 at 11:00 a.m., St. Elizabeth Church, 120 St. Elizabeth Drive, Chester Springs, PA 19425.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
