Roberta Fiske

December 28, 1937 — December 30, 2021

Roberta “Bobbi” Claire Fiske, 84, of Wayne, PA, passed away December 30, 2021.

Born December 28, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter E. and Edith Rose (nee Forte) Bell.

Bobbi was a graduate of Upper Darby High School and Philadelphia Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing. She then completed her clinical studies at The University of Pennsylvania.  Bobbi spent more than 30 years in a successful Nursing Career at Bryn Mawr Hospital.  She was well regarded with many distinguished accomplishments before retiring at 65. During those years she worked on the Nursing Management Team in several roles including Patient Care Manager, and the development and management of the inpatient Alcohol & Drug Detox Program.  She served on Committee Memberships, and was instrumental in the implementation of policies to improve patient care.

After retiring she was able to focus on her passion for the Arts.  She was a membership volunteer at the Philadelphia Museum of Art from 2003 to 2013, she frequently ushered at several Philadelphia theaters, and enjoyed attending the Philadelphia Orchestra performances. Most important to Bobbi was the time she spent with her family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren.

Roberta was the loving mother of Desiree Horgan (Terrence, Sr.) and Robyn Hornaday (William); and adoring grandmother of Luke Streeter, Sean Horgan, Hannah Horgan, William Horgan, Marie Horgan, Rowan Hornaday, Leighton Hornaday, and Terrence Horgan, Jr. (Amanda).

Services will be private.
