Robert "Bob" John Locker, 88, of Wayne, PA passed away on March 17, 2018.
Born in Bronx, NY in 1929, Bob was the son of the late Gebhard John and Lillian (nee Wagenhofer) Locker.
Bob was the dear husband of Elizabeth S. Locker (nee Slocum) and loving father of Amy L. Krug (Robert), Susan L. Herd (Bryan), Donald J. Locker, and Nancy J. Biederstadt (Stephen). He was the dear brother of William Locker, and the late Lillian Douglas. He was also the much beloved grandfather of Ted, Carrie, Debbie, Sarah, Emily, Tracey, Alex, Evan, and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was a graduate of Washington State University and earned his Masters of Electrical Engineering from University of Pennsylvania.
Bob was an Electrical Engineer for General Electric Aerospace Systems Division, where he held 3 patents with the company. He was a Scoutmaster for Great Valley Boy Scout Troop #106 and enjoyed spending time with his large extended family.
Bob was a family man who enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, children and grandchildren. He spent much of his leisure life outdoors, always looking for a new adventure, whether big or small. Bob also loved having the latest "thing" in technology, "a cutting-edge kind of guy".
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, March 22, 2018 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 366 West Lancaster Avenue Wayne, PA, 19087. His Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 23, 2018 at Good Shepard Lutheran Church, 132 E. Valley Forge Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406. Interment is Private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob's memory to Good Shepard Lutheran Church, 132 E. Valley Forge Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
