Robert Hunter

Robert Arthur Hunter, 74 of Enoree SC, formerly of Downingtown, PA, passed away on November 30, 2021.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of late Robert H. Hunter and Ruth E. Hunter.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to him. He enjoyed shopping at his local thrift stores and flea markets. Took long drives to nowhere. Loved to sit in his red recliner aiming the remote at the tv. Got up every morning at 7 am to care for the goats. Spent endless hours on Sunday’s reading every page of the newspaper. Daily tea drinker (he was always cold) and shared his donuts with the dogs (Augie, Flo and Little Bear). He looked forward to our family gatherings no matter the reasoning for the get togethers.

Bobby was the beloved husband of the late Lynda J. Hunter. Loving father of Michael R. Hunter, loving father in law of Michelle (Mickey) D. Hunter, adoring PopPop of Michelle L. (Shelly) Watkins, and Kody J. Hunter, PopPop in law to Austin T. Watkins, Great PopPop to his precious Kinsley Bell Watkins, and caring brother to Ruth Stewart and Barbara Kerrigan.

PopPop is also survived by his extended family that loved and adored him. Diana L. Martin, Diana (DeeDee) Barlow-Clark, Dawny L. Clark, Devin and Jennifer Watkins, and Great PopPop to Huxtin Watkins.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 12:30-1:30 PM Friday, December 10, 2021 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by his Funeral Service at 1:30 PM.
