Robert L. Evans, 90, of Coatesville, PA, formerly of Hershey's Mill and Villanova passed away on January 30, 2019.
Born in 1928 in Wauwatosa, WI, he was the son of the late Lorn Edward and Margaret (Davidson) Evans.
Robert served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked as Operations Manager for Sears & Roebuck. He was a devoted husband and father. Robert was very active on committees at Freedom Village and was a longtime member of Wayne Presbyterian Church.
Robert was the beloved husband for 67 years of the late Marjorie A. (Schueppert) Evans; loving father of Leanne Pretz (Tim), Christine Kennedy (Mike) and Robert "Robb" Evans, Jr. (Amy); devoted grandfather of Sarah Foster (Bryan), Kelly Keim (Mike), Courtney Girafalco (Paul), Samantha Peterson (Dave), Daniel Pretz (Rachelle), Ryan Kennedy, Nicholas Evans and Logan Evans; great-grandfather of 8 great-grandchildren; and dear brother of the late Burton Evans.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service 11 AM Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Freedom Village Retirement Community, Freedom Blvd., West Brandywine, PA 19320.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
