Richard Silvestri

Richard “Sweet Lou” Silvestri, age 84, of Brookhaven, PA, passed away on September 3, 2021. Born in 1937, he was the beloved son of the late Silvio and Katharine Silvestri (nee Nuttore).

Sweet Lou was an avid sports fan, especially the Eagles and Phillies. He loved bowling and was one of the best bowlers of the "Monday Night Rockers" league.

Richard is survived by many loving cousins on both the Silvestri and Nuttore side. He will be missed by his friends and residents from the Don Guanella and Divine Providence Community.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Thursday, September 9, 2021, 9:30-10:30 AM at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015, followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to The Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence, 20 E. Cleveland Ave, Norwood, PA 19074.
