Richard J. Gervasi

Richard J. “Rich” Gervasi (dad, grandpop), of West Chester, PA passed away, peacefully surrounded by his family on December 11, 2025.

Born in October 1943, in South Philadelphia, Rich was the son of the late Anthony L. and Rose (née Perrucia) Gervasi.

Rich was a standout football player throughout high school and served in the US Military for two years. He was then a Lithographic 1st Pressman for 35 years with Smith, Edward & Dunlap, retiring at age 55.

Rich enjoyed boating, hunting, sports, fishing, keeping aquariums, his dogs and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Rich is survived by his beloved wife, of almost 61 years, Linda C. Gervasi (Buchianico) and was a proud father of his five children: Charlotte Formica (Steve), Rich (Tina), Tony (Maureen), Gina D’Angelo (Jim), Michael (Tonia). Rich had 12 wonderful grandchildren: Arden, Jesse, Devin, Vincent, Valerie, Kelly, Megan, Callie, Sophia, Luciana, Lily and Liam. Plus two awesome great-grandchildren: Nadia and Finn.

The Funeral Service will be 10:30 AM December 23, 2025 at SS Simon & Jude, 8 Cavanaugh Ct., West Chester, PA
