Richard E. DeSpirito, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on April 13, 2018.
Born in Norristown, PA in 1944, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Anna Mary (nee Dorazio) DeSpirito.
Richard served honorably in the US Army.
He was an avid stamp collector and a fan of European soccer.
Richard was the beloved husband of Laurie L. DeSpirito (nee Mills); loving father of Justin A. DeSpirito (Lana Yang), Daniel R. DeSpirito (Virginia P.), Angela J. DeSpirito (Tim Barr), and his honorary son, Joshua Horrocks; devoted grandfather of Monika, Chase, Nico, Santino, Dominic, and Allison; dear brother of Louis DeSpirito (Linda) and Robert DeSpirito (Roseann); also survived by nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass 10 AM Saturday, April 21, 2018 at St. Jude Church, 1402 E. 10th Street, Eddystone, PA 19022.
Interment Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Holisticare Hospice, 685 Kromer Avenue, Berwyn, PA 19312, would be appreciated.
