Richard Beckett

Richard S. "Rick" Beckett, age 76, of Broomall, PA, passed away on October 29, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late William and Helene Beckett (nee Kirstein).
Rick worked as a Teacher for over 30 years in the Philadelphia school district. He also coached basketball at Overbrook and Germantown High School's and was named coach of the year in 1993.
Rick is survived by his beloved wife, Cathy Beckett (nee Carney), his loving children Andrew and Kristen Beckett, and his brothers Harvey "Hank" (Linda), Gerald (Janet) and Ray (Risa) Beckett.
He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday, November 1, 2018 5:00-7:00 PM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (Cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Service at 7:00 PM.
Interment will be private.
