Rebecca Wells Brown

Rebecca Wells Brown, a lifelong resident of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 9, 2026. 

Born on March 21, 1976 in Doyestown, Rebecca was the daughter of Richard E. Brown Jr., his wife, Lisa Soderberg of Doyestown, and the late Mary L. Stewart. She was predeceased by her sister, Michelle M. (Brown) Del Pomo, and is survived by her sister, Anneliese S. Brown and her husband William Essigs of New Canaan, Connecticut. 

She attended Central Bucks School District as well as The Quaker School at Horsham and graduated from Central Bucks West in 1997. 

Rebecca was energetic and enjoyed giving back to her community, serving as a long-time volunteer at Doylestown Hospital and Pine Run Lakeview nursing home. 

Rebecca’s strong friendships, established through all phases of her life, were a cherished and important part of who she was. She participated in The Seekers Program at the YMCA for over thirty years and was a pillar of the community. She was also a member of Central Bucks Special Friends, especially enjoying their bowling group and many social events. Rebecca brought a sense of humor, kindness, empathy, and positivity to all of her many relationships. 

Throughout her life, Rebbecca faced a number of physical challenges with courage and grace. She always found the best in every situation and never let obstacles stand in her way. She was a bright light and kind soul to all and will be deeply missed. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at the County Theater in Doylestown on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
