Raphael Binni

Raphael “Ray” Binni, age 85 of Springfield, PA, passed away on May 23, 2025.

Born in Yeadon, PA in 1939, Ray was the son of the late Armond and Carmella (née Rocco) Binni.

Ray served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He dedicated many years of his life to working as a barber and for Prudential Insurance Company where he was known for his reliability and strong work ethic.

A loving husband for 56 years, Ray deeply valued family. He took pride in being a devoted father, Pop-Pop, and Grandpop. His warmth, kindness and sense of humor will be remembered and missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

Ray enjoyed taking naps, bowling in his younger years, watching cooking shows, cooking, and working at Joe’s Barbershop in Springfield.

Ray was the beloved husband of Ida Binni (née Palladino); the loving father of Daniel Morroni (Natalie), Michele Morroni (Robert Woodward), and Michael Binni (Jennifer); proud grandfather of Daniel J. Morroni (Amber Albert), Nicolette Misseri (Angelo), Camille Woodward, Michael R. Binni, Chloe Woodward, Andrew Binni, Vincent Binni; and caring great-grandfather of Luna Morroni, and Leo Morroni.

Family and friends are invited to honor Ray at his Visitation 10:00 -11:15 AM, Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newton Square, PA 19073, followed by his Funeral Mass 12:00 noon at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 136 Saxer Avenue, Springfield PA 19064. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
