Rafael J. Veguilla

Rafael J. Veguilla, “Raf”  of Clifton Heights, PA passed away on February 26, 2023 at the age of 66, with his family by his side. Raf is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy Veguilla (née Timby) and his loving daughter, Kathleen Veguilla.

Raf was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up on Long Island. He attended Temple University.  Before he retired, he was the Associate Director of Facilities at the University of Pennsylvania.

He loved to travel to exotic places, scuba diving was one of his passions. He made so many lifelong friends through his scuba diving trips and everywhere he went.

He enjoyed playing music on his guitars and his taste in music ranged from Spanish to Country. He loved to drive his Mustang at full speed, playing his music at full volume with windows wide open.

He loved taking his dog Sasha to the dog park. They were inseparable.

His love of sports ranged from the Saturday night boxing matches to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoons.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, March 3, 2023 from 5:00-7:00  PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA (610) 353-6300 and to his Funeral Service following at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private.
