Priscilla J. Nacy

Priscilla J. Nacy (Hard), age 96, formerly of Arlington, Vermont passed away Sunday, July 12, 2026.

Priscilla graduated salutatorian of Arlington Memorial High School in 1948. Upon graduation, she married the late Leonard J. Nacy. They spent the next 38 years growing their family in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. She enjoyed her job as the Director of Cafeteria Services at Hillcrest Elementary, which she walked to and from every day.

A devout and active member of St. Faith Episcopal Church (Havertown, Pennsylvania), Priscilla attended services weekly and participated in most, if not all, church activities. In 2001 she moved to Claymont, Delaware and began the next chapter of her life where she made many friends at the Brandywine YMCA (aquatics, chair yoga, tri-fit, etc).

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband (Leonard J. Nacy) her younger brother (Gordon Hard), her brother (David Hard) and her sisters (Jean Cameron and Alice Hartigan).

She is survived by her three devout children, Carol Gaughan, Diane Coyle (Owen) and David Nacy; her siblings Sara Grey and Jeffrey Hard; her grandchildren Lisa, Nicole (Patrick), Ashley (Robert), Owen (Megan) and David; her many loving great-grandchildren including Michaelah, Jesse, Ethan, Parker, Reagan, Avery, Kate, Liyanna and Seraphina.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Disabled American Veterans and/or St. Jude's Children's Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
