Porter McMillian, Jr.

Porter McMillian, Jr., age 80, of Haverford, PA, passed away on June 22, 2022.  Born in Cheyenne, WY, he was the son of the late Porter McMillian, Sr. and Maxine McMillian (nee Cline).  

Porter grew up in Seattle, Washington and received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Washington.   He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War era.  Porter had been employed as a CFO in the Pharmaceutical industry.

Porter loved his family.   He enjoyed running, cycling, playing tennis, reading, and walking on the beach.   He also enjoyed dining out, martinis (shaken not stirred), his 1968 GTO and technology.  His favorite places to visit were Avalon, NJ and New York City, NY. 

Porter was the beloved husband of Patricia McMillian (nee Mellusi).  Loving father of Stephen J. McMillian (Sherri), Robert D. McMillian and Heath McMillian.  Dear grandfather of Rachel and Julie McMillian. Also survived by his half-brother Richard McMillian. Predeceased by his step-father Dan Sohn.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Thursday, June 30, 2022 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Katharine of Siena Church, 104 S. Aberdeen Avenue, Wayne, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.   Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
