Phyllis L. Momrow

Phyllis L. Momrow (nee Gokey), age 97, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on March 17, 2024. Born in Worcester, MA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Gilbert and Angelina Gokey (nee Montfis). She was a beloved member of the community, known for her dedication and hard work throughout her life.

Phyllis led a fulfilling career as a waitress at Llanerch Country Club and Covered Wagon Amish Farmers Market. Her caring nature and warm smile also shone through when she worked as a Lunch Aid at Highland Park Elementary School. Phyllis touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity.

In her leisure time, Phyllis found joy in simple pleasures. She loved visiting Wildwood, NJ, Rehoboth Beach, DE, and Myrtle Beach, SC. One of her favorite pastimes was decorating for holidays, especially adorning her lawn with festive ornaments.

Phyllis was the beloved wife of the late Victor J. Momrow; loving mother of Kathy Momrow and Sharon Dalrymple; adoring grandmother of Sharon Finn (Joe), Robert Dalrymple (Katie), April Dalrymple (Padraig Dalrymple), and Krystle Vitello; caring great-grandmother of Fiona, Ryleigh, Owen, and Emmett. Phyllis was predeceased by her daughter Sandee Vitello (Ralph), granddaughter Melody Dalrymple, and brother Donald Gokey (Phyllis). 

Phyllis will be dearly missed but forever remembered for her loving spirit and the positive impact she had on those around her. May she rest in peace knowing that she was cherished by many.
