Phyllis Giacchino, 94, of West Chester, PA, passed away on May 7, 2018 at Wellington Terrace.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1923, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Nicotra) Lacca.
Phyllis was a volunteer at Springfield Hospital for over 50 years.
She loved traveling all over the world, especially with her sister, Marie and she also enjoyed cooking and entertaining at family gatherings.
Phyllis was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Phyllis was the beloved wife of Carmen T. Giacchino; loving mother of Joseph C. Giacchino (Ann) and Larry Giacchino (Lynn); devoted grandmother of Kristen Dougherty (Dennis), Jennifer Berrocal (Mauricio), Daniel Giacchino (Amy), Joseph Giacchino (Victoria), and Brian Giacchino; adoring great-grandmother of Hadley, Lila, Nanni, Kati, and Abby; dear sister of Marie Turchi (Anthony) and the late Benjamin and Mary Lacca. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Services and interment are private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to St. Maximiliam Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA 19382, would be appreciated.
