Phillip James McGee

Phillip “Phil” James McGee, 55, of Broomall, PA passed away on October 3, 2026.

Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of Phillip McGee and the late Anne (née Dunphy) McGee.

Phil was the loving father of Lauran and Synthia; proud grandfather of 3 grandsons; dear brother of Shannon Buchanan (James) and Terry McGough (Tony); uncle of Megan, Lucas, Liam, Jimmy, Patrick and Meghan. Phil was predeceased by his sisters, Colleen and Megan.

Phil worked in Property Maintenance. He was a huge Philadelphia Eagles sports fan. He also enjoyed playing softball. Phil will be remembered for his quick wit, his kindness, and his readiness to help anyone in need. Most importantly, he loved his family deeply.

Family and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM, Thursday, October 8, 2026 and to his Funeral Service 10:30 AM at the Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
