Peter D. "Pete" Kennedy, age 83, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on June 30, 2016. Born in Upper Darby, PA, he was the son of the late William and Marion Kennedy (nee Black).
Pete served in the United States Navy Reserves. He was an amazing provider for his family, an avid hunter/outdoorsman and a great debater.
He is survived by his beloved wife, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage, Nancy L. Kennedy (nee Brown), his loving children William Kennedy (Sandra), Patricia Heath (Robert), James Kennedy (Kathleen), Mary Richmond and Mark (Elizabeth) Kennedy, his brother John Kennedy (Eileen), his grandchildren Kirrily, Maggie, Coleen, Katherine, Rachel, Joseph, Brian, Sean, Jennifer, Kristen, Brayden and his great-grandchildren Scarlet, Kaylee, Vivienne and Juliette. He was predeceased by his grandson, James Kennedy, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Saturday, July 9, 2016 9:30-10:30 AM St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3422 Dennison Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.
