Peggy Jane Baroni

Peggy Jane Baroni, 88, of Chester Springs, PA passed away on April 8, 2026.

Born in 1938, in Friedens, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth (Morse) Walker. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

She was the loving mother of Ann E. Geis (Dean), Jeffrey M. Baroni (Susan), Kathleen J. Jones (William Bozyk), Christopher A. Baroni, and Craig A. Baroni (Patricia); proud grandmother of Catey Baroni, John Baroni, Madison Baroni, Amy Pumphrey (Lloyd), Brian Geis (Martha), Sherri Baur (Chris) and Timothy Geis; and great-grandmother of 6 great-grandchildren.

Peggy worked as a school secretary in the Downingtown Area School District’s West Bradford & East Ward Elementary Schools. She also was a passionate, dedicated Band Parent with the Downingtown High School Blue & Gold Marching Band for many years. She treasured spending time with her kids, grandchildren and all of the family pets. She especially adored her rescued Chihuahua, Buddu, who was her sidekick for a very long time.
