Pauline F. (Collins) Duffy 7/16/1931 – 11/18/2022

Pauline F. (Collins) Duffy, 91, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed peacefully at her daughter’s home on Friday November 18, 2022.

Pauline was the daughter of the late John F. and Pauline (Hogan) Collins and was born in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from West Catholic High School, Class of 1949 and was a Service Representative for the then Bell Telephone Company for several years.

Pauline was married to her late husband. Joe, for over 50 years, before he died in March of 2007, and was a devoted mother to her children Eleanor M. (Kevin Moran), Joseph P. Jr. (the late Phyllis), John M. (the late Patricia), Martin J. (the late Bill Sell), Michael J., James J. (Kelly), Mary Ellen and Thomas J. (Karen). She was a proud grandmother to her grandchildren Christine (Matt) Ferris, Andrew (Anna) Moran, Sarah (Neil) Williamson, Nicole Lucas, Katherine Moran, Joseph (Maeghan) Duffy, Shannon (Roger Mignone) Duffy, Thomas (Lezly) Lucas, Hannah (Andrew) Vogel, Elizabeth Duffy, Michael Duffy, Sarah Duffy and John Duffy and great grandchildren Nola, Liam, Denny, Ryan, Piper and Sophie. Sister of Mary DeMaioribus, James Collins and the late Dorothy Weitzel and Jean Collins.  

Pauline was an avid Philadelphia Sports fan and loved all teams, especially the Eagles, Phillies, Sixers and Villanova basketball. She also enjoyed reading books, playing pinochle, and hanging out with her friends on Albemarle Avenue. Most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and Friends are invited to celebrate her life at St. Francis of Assisi Church on Monday, November 28, 2022. Viewing begins at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.  She will be buried at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.
