Paula Marie Dunn

Paula Marie Dunn, 78, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, September 14, 2025, surrounded by love.

Born in Bethesda, Maryland, Paula was the daughter of the late Paul and Mildred Hughes. She was also predeceased by her sister Patricia Dupree. She attended Walt Whitman High School where she played the violin in the school orchestra and was a member of the pom pom squad.

Paula relocated to Ridley Park, Pennsylvania in 1983 after remarrying. She worked as an administrative assistant at The Philadelphia Hand Center for 25 years before retiring.

Paula enjoyed her family, her friends, her church, oil painting and gardening but her most treasured role was that of grandmother. She delighted in caring for and spending time with her grandchildren, Dylan and Vivienne and her grand-nieces Annie and Molly in her retirement.

Paula is survived by her husband, John, and her children Lisa Marie Jameson (Eric) and Richard Paul Huffer (Kelly Graf), her two grandchildren, Dylan Lee Jameson and Vivienne Lucille Huffer, as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and lifelong friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her Visitation, 11:00 am -12:00 pm on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Springfield Baptist Church, 184 N. Norwinden Drive, Springfield, Pennsylvania,19064. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm with a luncheon to follow at the church after the service. Burial service to take place on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11:30 am at Parklawn Memorial Park, 12800 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, Maryland, 20853.
