Paul Leo Troutner, 86, of West Chester, PA passed away on May 11, 2026.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1940, Paul was the son of the late Paul L., Sr. and Margaret (née Stretch) Troutner.
He was the beloved husband of Mary Agnes (née Harley) Troutner; loving father of Rosemary Franceschetti (the late Augustine), James T. Sulpizio (Eileen), Natalie Suplee (the late Mark) and Barbara Jean Troutner; devoted grandfather of 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; dear brother of Jerald Troutner (Lorraine). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and his goddaughter, Tara Troutner.
A green beret, Paul served honorably in the US Army and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a paratrooper who enjoyed jumping out of airplanes, an avid surfer and motorcycle rider. Paul loved sports, dancing, but most of all he loved being with his family, especially his wife. A humble man, he was known for treating everyone with kindness.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Friday, May 15, 2026 and to his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Rd, West Chester, PA. Inurnment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the Knights of Columbus Council 11319, St. Maximilian Kolbe, at the above address or to any Veterans Association of donor’s choice.
