Paul Dixon

December 15, 1955 — June 11, 2021

Paul Thomas Dixon, age 65, of Broomall PA passed away on June 11, 2021, at his home in Raleigh, NC.

Husband of Mary Rebecca (McCormick) Dixon; loving father of Rachel and Timothy; loving brother of Anne, Michael, and Thomas, and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Barbara, and son Zachary.

Paul was a 1974 graduate of Cardinal O’Hara High School. He served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1974-1978 where he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Following his service, Paul worked as an engineering technician at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard and the Naval Submarine Base in Groton, CT. He continued to work as an architectural engineer for Haven Custom Homes and later for the state of North Carolina.

Paul was an avid fan of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and the UNC Wilmington Seahawks – his children’s alma maters. He loved cooking, collecting baseball hats, and was a keen reader of non-fiction and military history.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a graveside service at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 9, 2021 at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 S. Sproul Rd. Springfield PA 19064, 484-200-8321.
