Paul R. Styer

Paul R. Styer, age 80, of Wallingford, PA, passed away on September 13, 2022.  Born in Upper Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Robert and Catherine Styer (nee Whitaker).

Paul was a graduate of Lansdowne-Aldan High School and received his Master’s degree from Villanova University.   He had been employed as a teacher and Guidance Counselor at Sun Valley High School.  

Paul enjoyed salt water fishing, boating, and Penn State Football.  He loved traveling to Ocean City, NJ, Hatteras, NC and Ocracoke, NC.  He loved his family, grandchildren and his dogs.

Paul was the beloved husband of the late Martha Jane Styer (nee Meade).  He is survived by his loving children Timothy Styer (Alicia), Catherine Lynam (Jim) and Thomas Styer.  Dear grandfather of Jeannette, James Paul, Timothy, Marissa, Matthew, Tanna, Thomas, and Brendan and honorary grandchild, David Bussard.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 10:00 AM-12 Noon at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300.  Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Paul’s memory to the Providence Animal Center, 555 Sandy Bank Road, Media, PA 19063 would be appreciated.
