Patricia Jean Woolley (Williams), age 92, resident of Prospect Park, Pa, passed away at Taylor Hospital on Friday September 20, 2019 surrounded by family and loved ones.
Patricia (Jean) is predeceased by her husband Joseph F. Woolley, daughters, Maryann Lavin and Joanne Mixel, sister, Carol Shumm and grandson Charles (Pete) Coppock.
Jean was a loving mother of 7 children, as well as a grandmother and great grandmother to many. She was a very giving and caring person, whom up until the day she passed, was still volunteering within the community. She was a volunteer at Taylor Hospital for over 40 years, former President of The Senior Citizens Club, volunteer for meals on wheels and daisies, was continuously involved in local politics and winner of Prospect Park’s “Citizen of the Year” award. When she wasn’t volunteering, Jean enjoyed taking yearly vacations to Lancaster, Pa and Ocean City, NJ, as well as cooking, watching soap operas and listening to her favorite musician, Bobby Vinton.
Family and friends are invited to join us for a life celebration on October 7, 2019 from 10:00 AM – 11-30 AM at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home 746 Kedron Ave. Morton, Pa 19070. Interment will be private. We encourage all who attend to participate in celebrating Patricia’s life by sharing your stories and memories.
In lieu of flowers we ask for donations in memory of Patricia (Jean) be made to Taylor Hospital 175 E. Chester Pike Ridley Park, Pa 19078 or any of the above mentioned charities.
