Patricia Ann Koob (née Sheehan), 74, of Havertown, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 15, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of love.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Patricia spent most of her adult life in Havertown, where she built a beautiful life rooted in faith, family, and service. She shared a devoted and loving marriage of 36 years with her husband, Patrick Koob, whose steadfast love, companionship, and unwavering support were among life's greatest blessings.
Patricia dedicated much of her professional career as a bookkeeper with HC Wood Cemetery Memorials, where she was known for her hard work, reliability, and dedication. Outside of work, her Catholic faith was the foundation of her life. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Pius X Parish, where she found great purpose in serving her church and living out her faith through kindness, compassion, and generosity.
She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Patrick Koob; her daughters, Lisa Lipka (Nick Lipka) and Kristin Shelly; her stepchildren, Stephanie Bassetti (Michael Bassetti) and Patrick Koob; her siblings, Dennis Sheehan, Denise Verna, and Darlene Sheehan, having been preceded in death by her beloved brother, Jeffrey Sheehan; her cherished grandchildren, Colin, Emma, Juliette, and Jackson; her step-grandchildren, Vincent and Anthony; and dear friends.
Nothing brought Patricia greater joy than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Whether cheering them on from the sidelines at sporting events, proudly attending dance recitals and school performances, gathering everyone together for spirited games of bingo, or hosting her legendary cookie parties, she created memories that will be treasured for generations. Her grandchildren knew they were deeply loved, and each shared a special bond with their beloved Nana.
Patricia also found happiness wherever her family was gathered, especially during cherished vacations together. Whether enjoying peaceful summer vacations in Long Beach Island, making treasured memories in the Pocono Mountains, or spending time in North Carolina's Outer Banks, those trips became some of her family's most beloved traditions. While the destinations offered beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings, the vacations themselves were anything but quiet- filled with the joyful laughter, spirited fun, and constant energy of children and grandchildren she adored. To Patricia, there was no greater happiness than a house full of family making memories together.
Her relationship with her husband was one built on unwavering love, respect, and partnership. Together they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, faith, and unconditional support. She was the heart of her family, the person everyone could count on, no matter the circumstance. If someone she loved needed help, Patricia was there without hesitation. Her strength, selflessness, gentle spirit, and spirited personality touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Patricia will be remembered not only for what she did, but for how she made others feel: safe, welcomed, encouraged, and deeply loved. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished, the faith she lived, and the countless memories she leaves behind.
She will be profoundly missed, but the love she poured into her family, her faith, and the traditions she created will continue to bring them together for generations to come.
