Patricia M. Mirth

Patricia M. “Pat” Mirth (nee Murray), age 97, of King of Prussia, PA, passed away on September 23, 2026. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Murray (nee Crane).

Pat was a dedicated and beloved teacher of elementary school students for many years. She served as President of her Teachers Union. But nothing made her happier in her career than the college-aged students who still remembered her. She was a great cook who, with Lou, loved to entertain. Some say she was addicted to cooking shows, tennis, and golf, on television. But most of all, she loved Avalon especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren .... She will be missed.

Pat was the devoted wife of the late Louis Mirth; loving mother of Barbara Jacobelli (Michael) and Thomas Mirth (Patti); adoring grandmother of Julia, Peter, Nikki, Alex, and Kristi; caring great-grandmother of Oliver and Amelia; dear sister of Helen Barcaskey (Jon).

Relatives and friends are invited to Pat’s Funeral Mass 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at St. Monica Church, 63 Main Ave, Berwyn, PA 19312.
