Patricia Elizabeth Mickley passed peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2025. Pat was born and raised in Chester, PA, where she attended St. Robert’s elementary and Notre Dame high school. She met lifelong friends, Geri, Julie and Cathy, who affectionately called her Ettner, and never ceased to make her laugh. She married her husband of more than 56 years, David Mickley and they raised their three daughters, Jennifer Grace Potter (Phil), Karen Elizabeth DeLange (fiancée, Bill), and Jill Marie Erickson in Drexel Hill.
Pat worked for a time at Colonial Bank and ATR until it was time to take on her favorite role as Grammy to her beloved grandchildren, Caitlin Elizabeth, Christina Nicole, William James, Sean Michael, and Ryan James. In heaven, she joins her parents, Jimmy and Mae Ettner, who’ve been waiting for her to join their pinochle game and her sister, Kathleen Konza, with whom she’ll most certainly be doing the jitterbug, one up, two back. She will be remembered by her family and friends, including her treasured niece, Kristin Leigh Konza and nephew, Richard James Konza of Virginia, for her quick (and sometimes cutting) wit, her love of music and dancing, her joy of eating Starburst on the beach and breakfast at Uncle Bill’s in Sea Isle, watching Jeopardy religiously and cheering on the Phillies and Sixers with David, the love and pride she had for her grandchildren, and her thick, gorgeous (totally natural) white hair that strangers would comment on anywhere she went.
Thank you for the love and laughter. We love you and will miss you, Patsytrish, Pat, Ettner, Mommy, Aunt Pat, Patsy, and Grammy!
