Patricia L. "Pat" Lloyd

Pat was called home from hospice on May 8^th, 2024, after a long illness. She leaves behind to cherish many memories of her friends, Susan Cardillo of New Jersey, Laurie Dickerson of Delaware, Alisa Simpson of Delaware and her cousin, Diane Yocum (Howard) of Pennsylvania, and many loving second and third cousins. Pat was born in Philadelphia, PA, and was the beloved daughter of the late John M. and Florence L. (née Hoffstead) Lloyd. She was also predeceased by her two cousins, George L. Courtney and Glenn H. Courtney.

Pat was an Accountant for many years in Broomall and Springfield, PA.  She was also Co-owner with Laurie Dickerson of Barks N Purrs Petsitting in Broomall, PA, then Barks N Purrs Petsitting and Grooming in Middletown, DE. 

Pat enjoyed doing her crossword puzzles, watching the Eagles, the Phillies, and the Wilmington Blue Rocks on occasion. She loved her spaghetti “with lots of gravy,” her Ruby Tuesday, fall off the bone ribs, her Pepsi, tomato sandwiches, and more. She will be deeply missed.

Pat grew up in the Yeadon section of Delaware County and was a graduate of Yeadon High School, Class of 1959.  She was very proud of her Swedish heritage and shared a close bond with her grandmother, Esther (née Lind) Hoffstead.   

Relatives and Friends are invited to her Viewing on Friday May 17^th, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by her burial at Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State Rd, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.
