Patricia Louise Isajiw

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Patricia Isajiw, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and friend, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the age of 82.

Patricia was born on July 22nd in Gloversville, NY to Margaret & Joseph Cahill. She grew up in New Jersey and Philadelphia, where she worked as a hospital administrator, met her husband George Isajiw and built a family in Upper Darby, PA.

She raised seven children, fifteen grandchildren, volunteered at St. Laurence School, housed and mentored young women experiencing unplanned pregnancy and worked in partnership with her husband at their medical office. Patricia will be remembered for her kindness, humor, strength, devotion, unconditional love, and for the joy she brought to everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Dr. George Isajiw, siblings Peggy Gray, Joe Cahill (Margie) and Kathy Razzi (Dominic), children Kelly Caviston (Sean), David Isajiw, Peter Isajiw (Deanna), Michael Isajiw (Kathryn Willcox), Dan Isajiw (Christine), grandchildren Annemarie Stevens, Fred Stevens (Melynda), Joe Melchiorre, Joseph Isajiw (Alyssa) Andrew Caviston, Michael Isajiw, Bryce Caviston, Patrick Isajiw, Lily Isajiw (Rob McLean), Sybelle Konefsky (Jacob), Emalyn Isajiw, Daniel Isajiw, Adelyn Isajiw, Maia Isajiw, and Konrad Isajiw, as well as several great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents Margaret & Joseph Cahill, daughter Colleen Melchiorre, son Andrew F.X. Isajiw.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, September 26th from 6:00-8:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 27th at 12:30 PM at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Family and friends are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to St. Laurence Elementary School, saintlaurence.org.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
