Patricia Anne Heaney (nee Hennessy), age 87, of Lansdowne, PA, passed away on July 7, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Daniel J. and Margaret Hennessy (nee Brady).
Patricia received her Bachelor and Master Degrees from Villanova University.
She was employed as a teacher for the School of the Holy Child in Drexel Hill, PA.
Patricia loved reading, teaching, education and politics.
She was a forward thinker, open-minded, pro family and pro education.
She loved her family, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed visiting Long Beach Island with her family.
Patricia was predeceased by her beloved husband, James J. Heaney.
She is survived by her daughters Regina Center and Patricia "Tish" Heaney, her grandchildren Pamela Coates, James and Aaron Meadows and Benjamin and Noah Center, her great-grandson, Hunter Natale and was also pre-deceased by her sister, Jeanne Young.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Saturday, August 11, 2018 9:30 AM-10:30 AM St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3422 Dennison Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Pocopson Home, 1695 Lenape Road, West Chester, PA 19380 or to Neighborhood Hospice, 795 E. Marshall Street, West Chester, PA 19380 would be appreciated.
