Patricia L. Galbraith

Mar 25, 1945 — Aug 3, 2026

Patricia L. Galbraith, 81, of Newtown Square, passed away peacefully August 3, 2026.

Born March 25, 1945, in Darby, PA, Patricia was the beloved wife of William T. Galbraith, Jr., to whom she was happily married for 46 years.

Pat was a graduate of Upper Darby High School. She was a lifelong learner and very social, which led her to many varied and interesting jobs throughout her life, including working at Strawbridge's, Town Talk Newspapers, a veterinarian and GlaxoSmithKline, where she was an administrative assistant for many years.

Pat had a great sense of humor and ability to connect with others and make them laugh. She had a big personality and an even bigger heart. She was passionate about her family, friends, and animals, and she always enjoyed telling a good story.

Her favorite pastimes included spending time in Avalon, boating, bowling, traveling, playing pinochle and spoiling her dog. She was a self-proclaimed "foodie" and loved sharing food ideas and dining at a variety of restaurants. Pat was the keeper of her beautiful home and gardens and was the ultimate hostess of parties and other get-togethers through the years. But most of all, her greatest joy was doting on the love of her life, Bill.

Pat was predeceased by her parents Edmond G. and Florence P. (nee Covaluskie) Last and her brother Ed Last.

She will be deeply missed by all of her extended family and friends. Services will be announced at a later date and held at Donohue Funeral Home, West Chester Pike, West Chester.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Providence Animal Center, 555 Sandy Bank Rd., Media  and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
