Patricia JoAnn Blees

Patricia JoAnn Blees, age 85, of Broomall, PA departed from this world on March 19, 2024. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the cherished daughter of Thaddeus I. and Jessie P. (nee Kleino) Konieczka.

 Throughout her life, Patricia had a strong sense of faith. She was a parishioner of St. Pius X in Broomall for 58 years, where, with her husband, she raised her family in the Catholic faith. She attended mass regularly and found great comfort in her spiritual life.  

Patricia was outgoing, friendly, and personable and thrived on the relationships she cultivated with people. She enjoyed keeping up-to-date on those she cared about and enjoyed celebrating the milestones in people’s lives or offering her shoulder in support for those in times of need. Her family, friends, and neighbors were her greatest joy and they brought her great pleasure and happiness. 

Patricia was the beloved wife of Joseph Leo Blees; the loving mother of Linda A. Blees and the late Susan M. Brophy. She was the devoted and adoring grandmother of Dominique A. Brophy and Gianna N. Brophy, and the affectionate great-grandmother of Shyla Hernandez. Patricia is also survived by her dear cousins Deborah K. Pusey (Donald), Judith K. Lillis (Michael), George A. Kime, Jr. (Kimberly), and Virginia Kime and by her long-time friend Marlene D. Bodden.

Services to honor Patricia will take place on Monday, March 25, 2024, with a Viewing at 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
