Patricia Ann Glenn

Patricia Ann “Patty” Glenn, age 63, passed away on December 21st, 2025.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Rita (nee Georeno) Fries.

Patty was a hardworking woman who dedicated many years to working at her family’s local deli where she catered for countless events.

Patty loved to sing and dance to her favorite songs, even if her lyrics didn’t match the original, which was not uncommon. Her idea of a relaxing afternoon would be sunbathing, whether it was on the Wildwood beaches or in the backyard. As family and friends often teased, she somehow also found great enjoyment in cleaning. If Patty came over, you could guarantee the place would be spotless before she left.

She was always her happiest while spending time with her children and grandchildren, who she especially adored and spoiled with love and affection.

Patty was the nurturing mother of Tyler Glenn (Jacquelyn) and Morgan Paslay (Brandon) and was lovingly referred to as “Nan” by her two grandchildren, Emmalin and Chase.

Patty is survived by her husband of 33 years, Joseph Glenn, as well as her siblings Charles Fries (Lori), Albert Fries (Rita), Rita Rossi (Charles), James Fries (late Kelly), Michael Fries (Colleen), and Kevin Fries (Kathy).

Family and friends are invited to Patty’s Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM on Monday, December 29, 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Ave, Springfield, PA 19064, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, would be greatly appreciated.
