Patricia A. Miller

Patricia A. “Pat” Miller (nee Kalix), age 81, of Clifton Heights, PA, passed away on July 6^th, 2023.

She was the beloved wife to the late Charles J. Miller Sr.; loving mother to Charles Jr. (Mary), William Sr. (LaRaya), Richard (Mary Kay), Patricia Gratson (John); devoted Grandmother to Jamie Miller, Michelle Miller, Christopher Miller, Samantha Miller (Matthias), La Raya Miller (Michael), J.R Miller (Marelys), Paul Miller (Arlene), Mary Ann Miller, Kimberley Miller; and Great-Grandmother of Teresa, Dominique, Jocelyn, Connor, Samantha, Christopher, Zoey, Lailah, Caleb, Mena, and PJ. Patricia is survived by her brother John Kalix (Marye Ava) and sister Dorothy Brown (Wilbur). She is predeceased by her siblings Robert Kalix, Catherine Caruso, William Kalix, and Paul Kalix Jr.

Pat was an avid reader who especially loved Stephen King. She was a big fan of horror movies. Cooking and crocheting were other passions of hers. Pat loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When her children were younger, Pat was often adopted by their friends as a second mother. With all that she was involved in, Pat still made time to volunteer for several political campaigns, notably the gubernatorial campaign of Bob Casey Sr. Additionally, Pat served for many years as the Block Captain in her old neighborhood in West Philadelphia. She also worked as a School Teacher’s Aide at St. Francis DeSales School. In her Career as a Tax Examiner for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, she worked for the Government for over 18 years. Pat was amazing in everything she was a part of and will be missed by all who knew her.
