Patrice Ann Kenna, a devoted nurse known for her unwavering strength, vibrant spirit, and fabulous sense of humor, passed away on April 26, 2026. Born on June 21, 1953, Patrice’s life was marked by resilience, kindness, and an inspiring dedication to those she loved and cared for throughout her journey.
Patrice’s profound spirituality was a cornerstone of her life. Having spent five formative years in the convent, she was deeply rooted in her Catholic faith, which guided her through numerous challenges, especially in her battles with health. Strong-willed and a fighter by nature, she faced adversity with a pleasant and upbeat demeanor, embodying kindness and love in all her relationships.
Her career as a nurse reflected her compassionate heart and commitment to healing others. Beyond her professional life, Patrice was a woman of many talents and interests. She found joy and expression in playing the guitar, singing, crocheting, knitting, and crafting. As a self-taught enthusiast in a variety of activities, she inspired those around her with her creativity and zest for life. Her love for dogs was well-known among her family and friends, and she was cherished for her fabulous cooking and warm hospitality. Patrice also enjoyed hard rock music, concerts, spiritual melodies, and treasured her childhood memories in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey with her Grandpop, Great Aunt Mary and loving cousins.
Patrice’s connections were deep and lasting. She held lifelong friendships both in New York and locally. She cherished “her nanny” and the Cimino, Schillaci, LeDonne and Gallagher families who played an important role in her life.
She is survived by her beloved partner of 35 years, Angela Cimino, who stood by her side with love and devotion. Patrice is also survived by brother John and four sisters, many loving nieces and nephews, and her beloved dogs, who brought her comfort and joy. She is preceded in death by her parents, John T. Kenna and Georgette M. (née Boucher) Kenna, brother Kevin and sister Joyce.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Patrice’s life on May 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, located at 301 N Chester Rd, Swarthmore, PA 19081 followed by her funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
Patrice Ann Kenna’s legacy of strength, devotion, and love endures through the memories she created with all who were privileged to know her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the light she brought into the world.
