Noreen M. "Nordi" Leffler (nee Sikorski), 62, of Newtown, PA and formerly of Ridley Twp., PA, passed away on January 26, 2018.
Born in 1955, Noreen was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Fallon) Sikorski. She was predeceased by her brother, John Sikorski.
She was the beloved wife for 40 years of Mark R. Leffler; loving mother of Gina Noreen Whitfield and Carolyn Mary Berenato (James); devoted grandmother of James William Berenato; sister-in-law of Cathy Sikorski; and aunt of Steven Sikorski.
She was a loving daughter, sister and wonderful mother who nurtured her children to become two strong, caring women.
Noreen was an animal lover and an active supporter of many charities; Animal Shelters, Hospitals, Education, Special Olympics, and many other charitable organizations. She was detail-oriented with organizational skills at an Olympic level.
An avid reader, Noreen often enjoyed three or four books simultaneously. Music stirred her soul and dance fueled her body. She always loved spending time in her beautiful homes in Newtown, Lake Harmony, and Sea Isle City.
Witty, funny, and always ready to enjoy a good time, Noreen was a genuine person who was a very generous friend to many. She will be missed by all who loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, February 1, 2018 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 and 10:00-11:00 AM Friday at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Entombment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
