Nora O'Malley, (nee Friel) passed away on January 1, 2018 of Media, PA,
Nora was the owner of O'Malley's Restaurant from 1967 - 1993, and was formerly of Termon, Co. Donegal.
She was the beloved wife of the late James M. O'Malley; dear mother of Rosemarie Halt (Jay), John J. (Andrea), Maureen and Jimmy M. O'Malley, Jr.; cherished grandmother of Tara, Andrew, Megan, Daniel and Brian. Nora is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews and many dear family in Ireland.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Friday Evening, January 5, 2018, 6-9 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, and to her Funeral Mass, Saturday 10:30 AM, Church of St. Mary Magdalen, 2400 N. Providence Road, Media, PA. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Irish Immigration Center of Greater Philadelphia, 7 S. Cedar Lane, Upper Darby, PA 19082 or to the Main Line Health Hospice Foundation, 240 Radnor-Chester Road, Suite 100, Radnor, PA 19087 would be appreciated.
