Nora Flynn

Nora C. Flynn (nee McCabe), age 87, of Havertown, PA, passed away on December 22, 2021.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Mary McCabe (nee Boyle).

Nora was predeceased by her beloved husband, Daniel B. Flynn, Jr. and her son, Michael Flynn.   She is survived by her children Daniel B. Flynn (Peggy), Mary Grace McArdle (Dave), Nora O’Brien (Tom), Tony Flynn (Jennifer), and Thomas Flynn (Heather).   Also survived by her 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Sister of the late Bernard McCabe and Molly McMonagle. She is also survived by her beloved and faithful companion, Buddy (her dog).

Anyone who knew Nora, also knew that her kids and grandkids were her pride and joy. From the days at the pool to attending any and all games and events that she could, her brightest days were spent with them. Nora had been employed at the Hallmark Store in the Manoa Shopping Center for 12 years.  She retired in 2004. There are so many things that will be missed, but her perfect penmanship and dated cards will rank at the top.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, December 31, 2021 9:30 AM-10:50 AM at Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.  Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nora’s memory to the Annunciation BVM Church Sanctuary Fund at the above address would be appreciated. The Flynn family is encouraging all guests to wear a face mask .
