Nicholas Rizzo

Nicholas J. Rizzo, 78, of Mullica Hill, NJ, passed away October 8, 2021, with his wife and close family by his side.

Born May 27, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Jerry and Mary (nee Volpe) Rizzo.

Nick served Honorably in the United States Air National Guard as an MP. Following his tenure in the military, he spent his entire life in the insurance industry, where he proudly worked along side dear friends and colleagues, including his mentor Paul.

Nick enjoyed his dogs and animals, all Philadelphia Sports teams, photography, traveling, spending time with his family, and always making everyone laugh.

Nick was the beloved husband of Lorraine (nee New) Rizzo, and beloved brother to his only sibling and sister Mary Lou Lamonaca, (nee Rizzo). Nick was also survived by his nephews Joseph Lamonaca, IV,  (his Godson), Steven LaMonaca (Veronica), and Gregory LaMonaca (Monica), and step-children Jacqueline Simpson, KellyAnn Hillebrand, Raymond Simpson, Glenn Simpson, and step-grandchildren Jordan, Gage, Skylar, Isabella, Raymond, Taylor, Max, Lakyn and Caden. He is also survived by his great nieces and nephews, Debra, Jessica, Jennifer, Alyssa and Gregory.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 10 AM to 11 AM, Friday, October 15, 2021 at  St. Maximilian Kolbe, 15 E Pleasant Grove Rd, West Chester, PA 19382, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
